Shipping, Returns and Exchanges

Turnaround

All orders are shipped within 7-10 business days Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. There is an occasional issue that may delay it but I guarantee you that we are trying our hardest to get them out the door as fast as we can.

Shipping

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Not all options automatically have shipping insurance. It is highly recommended to use ROUTE+ Insurance, which is automatically added to your cart. If you wish to not have any insurance and take your chances, you can take ROUTE out of your cart, but please understand that I will not replace, remake, or refund any items uninsured and that were lost, stolen or damaged in transit.

ROUTE INSURANCE is available at check out. It is $0.98 if your cart is less than $100 or 1% for orders over $100. ROUTE INSURANCE is offered as an add on. It covers all lost, stolen or damaged packages. It is AUTOMATICALLY checked at checkout. By removing ROUTE INSURANCE from your cart, you are acknowledging full responsbility if your order is lost, stolen or damaged. I will not be able to reprint your order or refund your order.

It is the customer's responsibility to file any claims with ROUTE+, USPS, and/or UPS due to lost/stolen/damaged packages as it is out of my hands once the items are shipped.

Order Tracking

Tracking numbers are provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information.  

Back Orders

If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

How To Return An Item

Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. Your must return the item within 14 days of your purchase.

  1. Please email customerservice@tailchaseroutfitters.com to request a refund
  2. Mail your returned item.
  3. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt.

Return Exceptions 

Merchandise that has been worn, used, altered, or custom items will not be accepted for return or exchange.

Restocking Fee

All items are subject to a 10% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order.

Exchanges

If your clothing item is in like new condition, you may exchange your clothing item for a different size or color. You will not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but you still will have to pay return shipping. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
